I was simply making a descriptive statement - I would be surprised if anyone here cares enough about huffy bikes to know anything about the serial numbers. I'm not trying to be mean and intentionally not answer your question - I just had no idea, and didn't think it likely that anyone else would either. I'm guessing it's around 10-12 years old, maybe less?īy the way, I'm one of those 'nuts that hangs in C&V'Īnd nobody wants an opinion from a guy who is ridiculous and a moron and you did not answer my question!!!Ah, yes. Huffy does have an extensive database on their bikes and the Gila was likely made by Pacific for Huffy. If a Huffy has sentimental value, then who are we to judge? I have a Royce Union I keep around for personal reasons as well, as a reminder of where I started, both physically and also because when I resumed riding for health reasons, my grandfather, who passed away bought it for me because he wanted to encourage me to ride. To tell you the truth I am a car guy and this is another hobbyĪnd nobody wants an opinion from a guy who is ridiculous and a moron and you did not answer my question!!!CJaguar, Huffy bikes are the # 3 bike in America and still in business. Do you know timcupery I had I Schwinn it was junk, the brakes were so bad I had to use my shoes for brakes it lasted me 3 weeks before I totaled it and they went under.
